Grand Targhee

Grand Targhee is a one of my favorite traditions.  This year was our 14th year going.  Each trip it gets better and better.  I love that our family is finally at the point where we can all ski together and go down anything.  We were really lucky this year because it was clear ski's and we got to see the beautiful Teeton's.  They are breathtaking.

This year I was able to put my ski's back on.  It was like riding a bike.  I have forgotten how much I love to ski.  It was such a blast, and good to try something "new" again.

One of the day's it was literally freezing.  It was raining ice.  It was so crazy.  You would ski down the mountain and have to stop half way because your goggles were full of ice.  You literally could not see a thing.  This picture is when we got back to our place.  We were literally ice cubes.  It was quite the adventure.
A family that ski's/boards together stays together.  So grateful for this family of mine and the adventures that we get to go on.  I am so grateful for my family and the traditions that we have.

New Years

We started the night out right this year by snowshoeing in the mountains.  It was beautiful.  We had fresh powder as well.  It gave me some time to reflect on the previous year, and make some goals for the new year.  That is something that I learned on my mission was the importance of making goals, and achieving them.  So many times we make goals, and then do nothing about it, and it doesn't do us any good.  When we really strive to reach out goals that is when we progress and change, and become a better person.  So this year I hope that I can make goals and reach them so that I am always progressing.  Here is to 2015.
After snowshoeing we threw a party at our house.  Sadly I didn't take any pictures.  It was a blast except for when the cops showed up at our house at 12:30 because we were being to loud.  Luckily the cop just gave us a warning.  We sure started the New Year off right.
