We were able to go up to General Conference this year. I love this time of year. It really allows me to understand how much God is aware of us, and loves us. God truly does know exactly what we need to hear. He knows what will bring us the most joy. I am so grateful for living day Prophets who can give us the council that we need to strive to be better. I know that we have a prophet of God who leads and guides our church. I know that he was called of God. I am grateful that I got to hear his voice this weekend. I am so grateful for the gospel, and am blessed to have it in my life.

Leaving on a Jet Plane
Atim took me on another incredible date. He is so good at spoiling me rotten, and taking me on the best dates. I have always wanted to fly in a small airplane, and he made it happen for me. We went up to Ogden, and flew over Salt Lake City. It was breathtaking. Atim got to actually fly the plane. We had an instructor of course with us, but he did a lot of the flying. He loved it and was on cloud 9. The pilot would flip the plan, and let's just say my stomach dropped, but it was so awesome.
The view of the temple was absolutely breathtaking. It was definitely my favorite part.
This guy makes me pretty dang happy. He is so good to me, and really does bring out the best in me. Plus he is really good looking.
After we went and flew he took me to an African Restaurant. I am not going to lie I was pretty dang nervous to eat African food. Especially when they brought it to the table, but it was actually really really good. You ate everything with your hands which was really different. Atim was so good at it, and had perm grin the whole time. It was really cool to experience part of his culture. Tonight we were able to talk about where he came from. He literally escaped Africa with his mom. She sacrificed so much to get them to America. When he came to America he was part of a gang, and lived a really rough life. His brother got shot at, and gave them all a wake up call. His mom moved them to Pennsylvania. Atim prayed that he would find God in his life. Two weeks later the missionaries came knocking at his door. He then was able to join the church. His family disowned him, but he remained faithful. It was amazing to hear his story. It made me really grateful for being able to be raised by an LDS family and to be born in America. His story made me want to be a better person, and to become more converted. The night ended with a walk around Temple Square. I really love being around Atim. He told me that he loved me tonight. It was definitely a night that I will not forget.

St. George Baseball Tournament
If there is something that you need to know about me and my family it's that baseball is LIFE. St. George is one of our favorite places to go and watch some ball. We love every second of it. We have some good friends who have a second home down there and are nice enough to let us stay there.
The Irish did pretty well in there tournament. Easton killed it like usual. He is such a great player. He knows the game so well. He is really fun to watch. He can play any position and plays it well. I was really proud of him during the tournament.
We went to Zion and look who I ran into. This is Sister Samuels. I trained her on the mission. It was so good to see her.
Zion's was too crowded. The line to just get in was over an hour, and so we decided to go and hike somewhere else. Even though it was not Zion we still had a great time. The weather was perfect, and the red rock was beautiful.
I wish this picture wasn't so dark. I sure do love this family of mine. We had a great time being together is St. George. I am so grateful for the memories that we have made together, and for the support that we always give to one another. I am also really proud of Easton. He practices so hard, and really goes the extra mile to be the player that he is.

My New BOYF
A couple of weeks ago I received a text message from Atim who was in my ward. He started by just asking me questions about my mission. He then asked me to hang out that day, but I was working. So I told him that I couldn't. He then asked me if he could bring me some dinner. I told him that I had already eaten. Then he asked if he could bring me a smoothie. The kid would not give up. So I told him yes. I was super nervous. He was so attractive and so out of my league. Luckily work was really slow and so we got to talk for a long time. He was so genuine and wanted to know all about me. He made me feel really special. So that was the start of Atim and I.
Atim really knew how to spoil a girl. He told me to get all dressed up for our first date, but he wouldn't tell me where we were going. He came and picked me up, and looked smoking. I never thought that I would date a black guy, but dang he was very attractive. The best part was that he had flowers in his hand for me. They were beautiful, and I felt pretty dang special. He then took me to Ruth's Cris which is an extremely fancy steak house. It was probably the best steak that I have ever had. After that he took me to a piano concert in Salt Lake City. It was amazing!! I got to experience all of my favorite things that night. It was a perfect first date.
After our date we went back to his place. He knew that my feet had been hurting from my heels so of course he massaged my feet. He is definitely something special, and he made me feel like a princess. Plus he was great to look at all night.
